My love of flowers and nature was influenced by my Russian grandmother. Her backyard was a beautiful Victorian perennial garden where I spent my summer days playing amongst her flowers. Nature and flowers are a part of my everyday life. My husband shares my passion for gardening. We have beautiful perennial gardens in our yard and added a wonderful koi pond about 6 years ago. Our summer days and nights are spent in our yard enjoying the natural beauty and tranquility. Nature is alive in our yard. The sounds of frogs singing fill the air in spring. Our pond and garden bring a sense of peace to our soul . We enjoy waking up at the crack of dawn and sitting by our pond watching the sun rise and feeling its warmth on our faces as we enjoy our morning coffee. The birds start singing before the sun rises and several varieties live in the housing we have provided. Hummingbirds are our constant companions.
We are a Certified Monarch Waystation. During the late summer, early fall you will see hundreds of monarchs feeding in our yard on the flowers before their long journey south. The sight is breathtaking! Below you will find some pictures of our yard and pond. Come take a walk with us amongst the flowers....
